Hawaii Warriors Football New Haka - Hawaiian Ha'a War Chant
From The Honolulu Advertiser: The University of Hawai'i football team debuted its new version of the haka before and after Saturday's 49-14 win over Nevada-Las Vegas. Not to confuse people, this is actually the Hawaiian Ha'a and not the Maori Haka. If you listen closely, it's spoken in fluent Hawaiian and associates Hawaiian movements.

find all bullsh1t spread about Polynesians and burn the material. Do a haka to send off the Material and Roast a pig, Roast a Pig on a Book Fire! you'll get rid of racist material AND ruin life's work of historical idealology. Sounds extreme but new work is also based on old work Catagorize your heart out, debate the issue til your blue the fact is the debate will carry on until you get rid of it. Burn it all, Burn all History Lies about Polynesia!

Do You Think Capt. James Cook and his men heard this war chant when they were battling it out? This Chant is for locals only......

this is a mean haka i was quite offended when i seen that they had been proforming Ka Mate the way they had been.. but it good 2 see them embrace there own culture and represent with the pride and passion.. wat a haka sould be.. 2 much cuzzy!

i wonder if the words have any significance to the actions. i see alot of maori haka actions in there. its like they took the actions from 3 different maori haka's that is well known in hawaii and mixed it up lol.

glad they've used something more relevant to the Hawaiian culture. But the funny thing is..... the Ha'a was never traditionally used in this kind of challenging context. it's a peaceful thing isn't? more akin to hula no?
