if you look at my 2 comments, i believe you will see that i didn't use the term "heavy" once. So I agree with you, "heavy" isn't a sound that belongs to anyone.

"heavy" isn't a sound that belongs to anyone. get 'The Reckoning' and see if you think the guy from sevendust could figure out any of the licks from the "Final Hour" intro.

David Ellefson and Jimmy DeGrasso maybe is less popular now (due to leaving Megadeth) but i think they have become much creative in songwrting and music arrangement and gained more freedom..
