palledrengens (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)i did read and i comment excactly to your response and i added to it so you could understand....but u obviesly didn´t... and you must still remember that martial arts not is for fun but defense.. and aikido is fighting in many ways example with sticks and swords, but also very close combat and a very fast one.. do your homework before commenting on things you seem not to know about...!

capoiera was made to hide it as a dance so the slave dealers wouldn´t see that the slaves where training martial arts!

*Sighs* Read my comment. I was only talking about capoeira and aikido. Do you think aikido (that which Steven Seagal practices) is useful?

you are an idiot...... one does not fight for life in ring, outside ring kick boxing is no good, only strong thing in kick boxing is the kick(strongest in world some say..) but if enough space allowed, capoiera, kung-fu, tae kwon do will eleminate kick boxing... kick boxing for fun and entertainment other martial art sport, for life philosophy...

you know, capoeira was developed by slaves to take down old fistcuffs chaps with guns, right? it was showy to put the guard's well, guard down, then he'd strike. Most proficient capoeira users are WAY faster than this guy.

it is ridiculous to think that capoeira can be effective in a fight! LOL... looks cool! maybe it belongs in a circus! but definitely not in a real fight or the UFC ;)

ok ok a lot of people talking abouth the same thing, why dont you look for Marcus Vinicius? or Mestre Hulk?, I dont say Capoeira is the best, but helps, abotu this guy...i think that he is no too smart to do the ginga when he is fighting, is what i think...
