I like fast car as everybody, but if the car is electric i like more. bugatti, koenigsegg, ultimate aero, saleen can suck!!!, their engines are dirty and deficcient, just 15% of the power go to the wheels!. I like the jet sound of a electric motor like that. If the ellica only had two seats it would be much more light and can surpass to the ultimate aero, but it has 5 seats but is ok. The power of electric cars is so big than a electric sedan like the ellica is almost so fast as a sport GT.

The Chinese can get their batteries down in price without having automotive volume due to cheap labor. Produced in sufficient volume for 20,000+ cars per year, those expensive batteries used in the Tesla Roadster and other expensive cars would be around $250/kWh according to AC Propulsion. Currently around $750/kWh due to low volume relative to what a car would use. Be wary of Chinese batteries. Initial run of Thundersky batteries were crap, although they have apparently gotten much better.

Cutting-edge EV batteries from China - example: http://www.everspring.net/product-battery.htm These batteries are better, and cheaper than the ones in those $100,000+ sportscars. They are as cheap as lead-acid batteries, and they hold up for 1100 charges. http://www.milesautomotive.com/products_xs200.html It's a Chinese electric car, which will be imported into the USA next year. The driving range is almost as good as those sports cars above. But it only costs $28500.

Consumers demand electric cars. May god have mercy on whom ever chooses produce electric cars last. A car manufacturer to switch to electric cars first will be smart to do so. The race to electric is on.

Better deal than a $400,000 Maybach, $700,000 Koenigsegg, or $1.2 million Bugatti Veyron, don't you think?

A $300,000 bargain? Yea, ANYONE can afford that.

The Eliica can hit 240 mph. Yet you hear a shitload about the Koenigsegg CCR? Electric cars are viable today. The Eliica would be around $300,000 if an automaker would pick it up. That's a damn good bargain for what you'd be getting, the world's fastest luxury cruiser to beat out any Maybach or Bentley.
