I think that Asheron's Call by Codemasters were the first to use the "WoW" UI

Also may I mention that the idea of realm vs realm (organized pvp) in WAR is from daoc (the other game by mythic, produced b4 wow). RvR was fought against 3 different "realms" each with a seperate environment to explore and a frontierland that they could fight rvr in and take territory and keeps from the other realm. I am not knowledgable in Wow but apparently Wow features similar pvp split between two factions? Many people probably think precious blizzard created it from the heavens.

@ shad0wlaw, actually it goes beyond people saying WAR stole WoW's interface. WAR is produced by mythic entertainment which also made the mmorpg Dark age of Camelot (pre-WOW era) which featured many different abilities which fit on a macro bar at the bottom of the screen. If anyone is copying its blizzard. Blizzard is known for making solid quality hit games, but imo they lack on making unique and creative gameplay.
