I can't believe I found this. Submarine Bells by the Chills is the best album of the 90s, and Martin Phillips is the best songwriter. If you appreciate music, find this and buy this album. I was in a band in the early 90s in the Gainesville/Tampa area, and though I lacked talent, I emulated Martin Phillips in my songwriting. Rolling Stone twice extolled Martin Phillips, calling him "one of rock's greatest troubadors" after the 1992 "Soft Bomb" release. Wordy I know but accurate!

this track was brilliant, and probably the worst song on the album, rest of it was stunning!
